Being with friends and family…that’s what this Christmas was about. We always aim for that, but these year we did it.
The kids were more excited about the visiting we did than they were about their gifts. And that’s how it should be.
We were on the go constantly. We were tired, but we rejoiced in the love and closeness of our family and friends. And it felt like Christmas for days. It didn’t feel commercial or busy in an unconnected way. We felt connected to the season and to our wonderful family and friends who shared the season with us.
As we move toward the new year, may we continue to be blessed by the love and closeness of our friends and family.
