This is a sure winner with my kids. I can’t go wrong. My kids will be McHappy and I will help Ronald McDonald House Charities.
It’s McHappy Day, and I’m taking the kids to McDonald’s for dinner and some PlayPlace fun.
Since McHappy Day was introduced in 1977, the national one-day fundraising event has raised more than $35 milion for RMHC®, the Ronald McDonald House® program and local children’s charities across Canada.
McHappy Day® is only one of the many ways McDonald’s restaurants give back to the community. Every single day of the year, ten cents from every single Happy Meal sold goes to Ronald McDonald House Charities Canada.
Since 2004, your 10-cent Happy Meal contributions have raised more than $34 million! These funds support sick children and their families when they need it most – through Ronald McDonald Houses and local children’s charities across the country.
McDonald’s restaurants in Canada will donate to local charities like Ronald McDonald House $1 from every Big Mac® sandwich, Happy Meal®, Premium Roast Coffee and Premium Tea sold.
So, I’m happy that I’m helping out and my kids are happy that they get to eat at McDonald’s in the middle of the week (usually a treat reserved for the weekend).
